We’ll introduce you to the sights, culture, food, and history of exciting destinations and show you what makes us unique. Discuss with your WorldStrides representative how to qualify.

Conventions for Program Leaders of International Tours

Convention destinations are pending and may change based on availability, government regulations, or travel advisories.

Conventions may be selected with "pending points." To check your points balance, visit your MyTrip account.

WorldStrides welcomes you to bring an adult companion with you on convention if you qualify with points, or you can pay a companion fare of $2,200 for the standard convention destinations. 

Companion fares are not available for Premier convention destinations. 

On Conventions designated as Family convention destinations, you are welcome to bring up to 3 guests with you, ages 8+.  The 3rd and 4th guests will be added at a 20% discount and will share a triple/quad occupancy room with you.

*At some of our Teacher Conventions, our team will host an optional interactive session for professional development. By participating in the tour and optional session, you will earn a certificate for 10-15 points/hours or 1-1.5 CEUs.

Convention reservations are first come, first served, are pending availability, and may close prior to the deadline listed. Qualification is based on Reward Points. Conventions departing after October 1, 2024 require an active 2025 or future tour. Conventions departing after October 1, 2025 require an active 2026 or future tour. Once redeemed, Rewards Points may not be used for other promotional rewards. 

Redeem Points for Cash, Gift Cards, Personal Travel, or Travel Scholarships

You may also redeem your Rewards Points for a cash bonus, gift cards, personal travel, or travel scholarships. To do this, please request here. The bonus structure is:

Cash:

• 590 Points = $500 
• 885 Points = $750
• 1180 Points = $1,000

If selecting cash, it is considered taxable income and therefore your Social Security Number will be required. Please enter this under your profile on your MyTrip page. Cash redemptions will result in a 1099 being issued for the appropriate tax year. $1,000 max per calendar year.

Gift Cards:

• 590 Points = $500

Choose from Amazon, Apple, Hotels.com, or Disney.

Travel Scholarships:

• 100 Points = $125
• 300 Points = $375
• 500 Points = $625
• 800 Points = $1,000
• 1200 Points = $1,500
• 1600 Points = $2,000

Travel scholarships must be requested prior to the traveler's final payment deadline and will be applied directly to the designated traveler's account. 

Please note that point redemption for cash or travel scholarships will be pending until 20 days prior to departure.

NEW! Personal Travel:

You may redeem your points for personal travel for one or more travelers. The point amounts are “starting from” and prices vary based on dates, locations, and how far in advance we are booking. Flights cannot be booked more than 9-10 months in advance or less than 3 months in advance of the requested departure date. Hotels and flight options will be shared with you before finalizing the reservation.

• 325 Points =Two consecutive hotel nights, double occupancy (175 points per additional night)
• 325 Points = Round-trip domestic airline ticket
• 725 Points = Round-trip international airline ticket
