Day 2: March 10, 2017

After everyone arrived at the airport, we left Frankfurt and headed for Rothenburg, but we made a stop on the way, to visit the town of Würzburg. We really enjoyed this little town surounded by wine vineyards, which marks the beginning of the Romantic Road, and we got to walk on Germany's second oldest bridge!! Rothenburg was like stepping back in time! It has been kept as it looked in medieval times and it still has the city walls from the 1400s!! After exploring the town and some of its sites, we got back on the bus (where we all got a bit of much needed sleep ;) and continued to Nüremberg, where we had dinner right by the square where the famous Christmas market is held every year! Now we are at the hotel, exhausted but happy, and looking forward to another great day in Europe tomorrow!
