Day 8: March 16, 2017

Our beautiful hotel is located on top the mountains. We woke up and were greeted by the majestic view that surrounded us, the cool, clear air immediately refreshed us. After breakfast we started our journey to Mt. Pilatus. We were taken up the mountain using a gondola which took us up over 2000 m. The Swiss Alps were covered with white snow caps and were incredibly beautiful. We then ate our lunch while taking in the breathtaking view, we will never forget how beautiful it was due to the amazing weather we received. Later, we spent 3 hours in the beautiful town of Lucerne. It was fun to pick up or customized Swiss Army knives and enjoy the view from the spectacular wooden bridge. Lucerne was amazing to walk around and again take in the spectacular view of the mountains. It was an amazing day in Switzerland one that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Annabelle Dravid
